Coach Vince has extensive background both as a swimmer, coach, and business professional with over 15 years of experience. He has coached swimmers to all levels of cuts and is currently certified as a ASCA Level 3 coach.
 

Vince himself was an accomplished swimmer ending his club swimming at Nations Capital Swim Club where he earned Alternate High School All-American, was a Junior National Finalist and Olympic Trials qualifier. Vince earned a full scholarship at the University of Maryland where he swam all 4 years and voted Team Captain. Vince believes every athlete is unique and he likes to target in on the athletes’ strengths and skill sets. His focus is providing an athlete hierarchy and safe environment where student athletes can push themselves to reach success and realize their potential through goal setting, challenging work, and perseverance. “The biggest joy I get from my work is helping student athletes hit their goals in and out of the pool.” 
  
Vince grew up in Philadelphia, Ohio, and the DC metro area. Vince earned a degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, and a Project Management Certificate from the University of California, San Diego. After his college swimming career, Vince went into business in the Washington, D.C. area where he worked in technology sales with GE Capital and Sun Microsystems, before returning to his love of coaching swimming. Vince enjoys US Masters Swimming, golf, reading and spending time with his family and dogs.
